I liked the show right away, but I didn't really appreciate just how good it was until about episode 4 that I reallized just how good it is. Then, because Ania wanted to start watching it after I was already 6 episodes in, I watched those 6 episodes again and they were even better.
If you liked "30 Rock" you will probably like this as it has that level of irreverent wit now seems to be Tina Fey's trademark.
It is incrediblly funny, witty, fun, a little stupid, and it makes you happy somehow watching it. Elle Kemper is Kimmy and her relentless pursuit of doing what is right and positive is the driving force for the show and she is the comedy "straight man" that everything bounces of.
Her friend Titus Andromedon (played by Tituss Burgess) is one of the funniest charactes I've seen on TV in a long time. Her emplyer, the eccenctric Jacqueline Vorhees (Jane Krakowski) also is damn funny. There's plenty of other characters and storylines that bring the laughs.
Get on the bandagwon! And maybe even get on the Kimmy Schmidt clothing craze!
