Bruins Fans Chant “Campbell” After He Helps Kill Penalty With Brorken Leg

Hockey players are very tough. Watching Gregory Campbell help kill the final 47 seconds of a penalty after taking a hard shot from Malkin off the leg was tough to watch live. Now when we know he was doing that with a broken leg it is even tougher to watch. In the picture above you can see him limping over to try and shut down a passing lane on Malkin while not putting much weight on the broken leg.

Below is a picture of the slide Campbell took to block the shot. You can see the puck just about to hit him here. It ended up hitting him just above the top of his skate on the side of his leg.

Below is a clip of what happened. If you watch it until the end you will hear the Bruins fans chanting "Campbell! Campbell!" Just awesome!

Lucic's Hit on Orpik Also a Big Play

I think Lucic's hit on Orpik was still affecting him on the game winning goal. He seemed to be a bit tentative after that and Bergeron took advantage of that to score the game winner.

The NBCSN announcers said he looked fine on the bench. With the eyes extra wide open like that, he looks like a guy with a concussion to me:

Here's the hit:

Heres' the game winning goal. Instead of pushing him away from the net like Orpik normally would do, he seems to be floating along with him. That cost them the game.

Bergeron and Marchand in Overtimes

Last night was the 3rd time Marchand and Bergeron have teamed up for an OT goal THIS YEAR: Game 7 against Toronto, Game 1 against the Rangers, Game 3 against the Penguins.

Last night's goal was fairly similar to the Rangers goal, with the roles reversed. Here Marchand beast his man and Bergeron sends the cross ice pass that Machand knocks in.
