Back at the beginning of the Summer I decided I wanted to learn more about photography. I sold almost all of my old camera equipment on eBay and upgraded my DSLR to the new Canon Digital Rebel T5i 700D and my point and shoot to the new Sony RX100M2 (RX-100 ii). My goal was to learn how to use both of them in all kinds of different situations: macro, night time, cityscapes, indoor, architecture, nature…
A few weeks into this I started a Picture of the Day on Flickr. The idea came from a photography blog I was reading and as something to do on my daily walks as I was recovering from Lyme disease.
We're 84 days in so far. Here's a few of my favorites.
