The Fall Movie Lineup Looks Great With Affleck, Spielberg, Bond, Ang Lee and Alex Cross Coming Soon

This looks to be one of the best Fall lineups for movies in quite some time. Here's some previews of some of the most interesting.

Life of Pi

Director Ang Lee ("Brokeback Mountain", "Sense and Sensibility") brings the international best selling book to the screen. The early buzz on this is great.

Skyfall

I was never a fan of Bond movies until Daniel Craig took the helm in "Casino Royale". This looks like another good installment.

Alex Cross

James Patterson's Alex Cross series of books are fantastic page turners. The first 2 books that were truned into movies ("Kiss the GIrls","Along Came a Spider") starred Morgan Freeman as Cross. Tyler Perry now assumes that role and he's got a good supporting cast of Matthew Fox (as the bad guy), Edward Burns (he should do more movies!) and John C. McGinley.

Argo

I'm a huge fan of Ben Affleck films. This movie based on the Iranian Hostage Crisis in 1980 looks great!

Lincoln

Steven Spielberg is directing Daniel Day Lewis as Abraham Lincoln and it looks fantastic! The one weird thing is to hear Abraham Lincoln's voice from Lewis. It sounds a bit weird.

Silver Linings Playbook

This little known film from David O. Russell ("The Fighter", "Three Kings") was a big hit at the Toronto Film Festival.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower

I've already seen this movie and it is fantastic. It is very emotional with out being a sad ballad, funny, cute, and tough. If you like movies, this is definitely one to catch.
